Two bodies A and B of masses 5 kg and 10 kg in contact with each other rest on a table against a rigid wall. The coefficient of friction between the bodies and the table is 0.15. A force of 200 N is applied horizontally to A. What are (a) the reaction of the partition (b) the action-reaction forces between A and B? What happens when the wall is removed? Does the answer to (b) change, when the bodies are in motion? Ignore the difference between μs and μk.

Class 12 | Moving Charge and Magnetism | A long insulated copper wire is closely wound as a spiral of 'N' turns. The spiral has inner radius ' a' and outer radius ′ b ′ . The spiral lies in the X−Y plane and a steady current 'I' flows through the wire. The Z-component of the magnetic field at the center of the spiral is :

In the given picture, the capacitor plate are clamped in the labrotary and connected to a battery, length and width of each plate are l and b respectively, the dielectric experience an attractive force due to non uniform electric field between the capacitor plate the edge of the dielectric, calculate the value of weight of the block for which the dielectric will stay in equilibrium. Here all surface are frictionless

1ev electron volt
Electron volt is a unit of energy.
Can also be use as work
Use to measure small energy and work
Defination of 1ev?
1 ev is the amount of kinetic energy gained or lost by a single electron accelerating from rest through an electric potential difference of 1 volt in vaccum.
Relation between ev and joule:
1 ev = 1 volt x charge of one Electron = 1volt x 1.602x10^-19 coulombs
So, 1 ev = 1.602 x 10^-19 joule
The numerical value of 1 ev in joule is equivalent to the numerical value of the charge of an electron in coulomb's.
Similarly, 1 joule = 6.242 x 10^18 ev
Some bigger unit is Mev
1Mev = 10^6 ev
